About Us
Uzzitz is an intellectual and cultural resource center. It is a multi- dimensional, non- governmental and non-profit institution, that serves as the universal custodian of culture and Art materials and ideas, for all peoples, nationalities, traditions and movements around the world.
To provide research and consultancy on matters relating to arts, culture and tourism.
To promote peace and mutual co-existence, human rights, democratic good governance and volunteerism.
To provide guides, catalogues, bibliographies, abstracts and indices to facilitate the use of materials preserved at the center.
To establish branches and implement programmes of the center in different countries of the world. And many more
In collaboration with our global partner NGOs, we seek to organize vocational training programs for entrepreneurial empowerment.
To assist existing clinics with volunteer nurses, midwives, physicians, as well as provide medicines, vaccines, laboratory equipments and medical supplies so urgently needed.
We have a rural healthcare program that involves immunization campaigns and distribution of insecticide treated mosquito nets to the rural poor. In the area of Education, we work to provide training programs in diverse fields, offer computer aid, donate books and laboratory equipment to schools. Also, we embark on general sanitation, and HIV/ AIDS awareness, control and management campaigns.
We are dully-registered as a non-profit and non- government Organization with (charity No. CAC/IT/18258). The projects of the center are managed by a team of highly dedicated experts drawn from our pool of volunteers. In general, the center is managed by a MANAGEMENT board.
As a humanitarian organization, selected, committed and loyal members drawn from across the globe own the center
The membership of Uzzitz Center is open to Organizations and Individuals from all nationalities, traditions and movements. Members are dully scrutinized before admission. Initially, they are placed on six months probation before full membership status is granted. During 16 and after probation, members are provided with opportunities to render their selfless service to humanity, to promote peace, tolerance and mutual co-existence. There are two categories of membership;
Individual membership Corporate membership
These are group of professionals in diverse fields; Lawyers, Doctors Nurses, Engineers, Scientists, Artisans, Entrepreneurs, Students, etc. who volunteer to serve in various capacities when the need arise, free of charge. They also make regular cash and material donations to promote the activities of the center.
This includes profit and non- profit organizations, donor Agencies Government institutions, corporate bodies, etc that supports the center by sponsoring its programmes. They also make yearly cash donations to facilitate the activities of the Organization.
